HOME TUITION – CANBERRA REGION ONLY Pulling your hair out trying to figure out how to use a new software program like Pinnacle or Photoshop? Would you like to get more out of your new digital camera? Simple to understand, step by step personal instruction is available to you in the comfort of your own home on your own PC. It’s much easier if someone shows you how (see below for further details). PHOTOSHOP CS 3 Extended or Lower versions including Photoshop Elements Photoshop is the ‘industry standard’ photo manipulation program. It’s such a massive program that most people only know a portion of it. But even a basic knowledge of Photoshop can be difficult to achieve unless someone shows you how. After that, you use whatever’s useful in your area of interest. Most images coming out of digital cameras today would benefit from some ‘twigging’ in Photoshop. Let me show you quickly and easily how to adjust and fix a photo that’s too dark using levels and fix up bad colour balance. Also it’s essential to know how to crop a photo (cut out unwanted areas) and resize them to a convenient email size for sending via the internet. Using the clone tool (rubber stamp) is also a must for removing things such as light poles, cars and people in the background of an otherwise perfect photo. The use of this tool is also how you restore and remove the cracks in old historical family photos you have from years gone by. Along with the healing brush which is similar, you can remove facial blemishes such as moles, acne and wrinkles, which make your subject look better than real life. In fact, Photoshop can be used to distort reality to make surreal images, combining many images into one. If you would like someone to teach you how to use Photoshop in your home, don’t hesitate to call.
